¡Hola amigos!

At this moment we are in Hotel Sevilla in Habana; just had (ROYAL) breakfast here, at the nineth floor, what a view! Yesterday we arrived here in a 'legal' but privado unofficial taxi (rotten VW Passat 1985) (with no options from Varadero. He skipped police controls by taking an alternative route through the breathttaking countryside, which was obviously nicer than the autopista sud..

Varadero: After a terrible flight with two kids screaming their little lungs out, CONTINIOUSLY, we decided to postpone having kids for the next ten years (or never to begin at it at all!!)Landed at local time 1pm, we took a cab to the tel we booked in advance, Dos Mares. And were pleasantly surprised it was only at 50 metres from the beach. And this people, let me tell you, is not your ordinary costa del sol tourist beachy, no no;-) Fotos will be uploaded soon.

Ten minutes later we already were sipping mojitos at the bar de playa and applying tons of sunscreen (factor: a zillion)

At night we had our first lobster (of many to come right at the beachside, afterwards, exhausted,  we hung out at the hotel bar, trying out the 'zombie coctail' ("three kinds of rhum and lots of tropical fruits") 15 minutes later we had a welcome night sleep.

Sorry but we have to stop now, our internet account is almost over and it takes a century to upload an internet page..
