Hola amigos,

last time online we were in the comfort of the fa;ous sevilla hotel in habana, now we are in vinales, one of the UNESCO wolrd heritage protected nature bal bla bla thingy, nevertheless, very impressing!

We'll scroll back to were we left you in haban and continue the story.

Ok, after ten minutes we were dropped of by our cabdriver, we already (thanks to our wonderfull guide sophie (viva lonely planet) found our first casa particular. And boy, were we stunned! In the hart of centro habana (dirty, smelly, frenatic) our casa was an oasis of tranquility.. our house lady Esther, really got the best out of her house. We were glad to find a three bedroom, in stead of the regular 2 bedroom stay, the top terras (patio) was converted to a botanic roofgarden, incluus parrots very cosy place to sip some rum and talk about.. euhm... not much actually.

We got into Hemmingways footsteps and visited the famous Floridita (Google it people;-) for a daiquiri and The bodeguita del medio for a mojito, in Habana Vieja.

Here we had a pretty nice walking tour, strolling by the colonial architecture and romantic Malecon We got famously ripped off by a jinetero in habana but that's a story for later hehe
